What does the other person receive?
A short text message with a link. The message does not name you. They see a request to share their location, nothing more.
Do I need to know the person’s exact number?
Yes. PingLocate works from a phone number, so you need the number in the international or local format. A username or email is not enough.
Can I send a ping to a landline?
No. Landlines cannot receive or open a link, so the request would never reach anyone. PingLocate works with mobile numbers that can open a message.
